Reay Projects manage property developments for private clients providing support across the whole journey from acquisition to occupation. We deliver buildings, interior spaces and landscapes that are beautifully designed and uplifting to inhabit.

Peter Reay has spent 25 years delivering major award-winning developments, ranging from complex urban regeneration projects to private homes of exceptional quality.

His experience, and a collaborative and inclusive approach, makes him ideally placed to lead projects for private clients. As Projects Director at Spink Property he oversaw property developments in central London, country estates in the home counties and private islands in the Middle East. As a senior leader at Lend Lease he worked on large, complex, mixed-use developments including the 2012 London Olympics.

After qualifying as an architect, Peter immediately moved to work in property development and construction and retains his professional status as a RIBA Chartered Architect.

What We Do

Reay Projects specialises in the development of high-value homes and the regeneration of country estates with equestrian facilities. We have extensive experience in working within sensitive environments, developing listed buildings and parkland, and working in conservation areas. We are also experienced in working with notable architectural practices in the design and build of statement contemporary homes.

Reay Projects provides exceptional quality in design, construction and across the entire development process. We manage project budgets, project programmes and all major decisions, providing clear and consistent communication between all parties. By taking responsibility for these key aspects, we allow clients to focus their energy on architectural, interior and landscape designs.

To achieve the highest quality of construction and workmanship on our projects we carefully select specialist contractors, craftsmen and suppliers. We know them, and their work, and we know they will take absolute care and pride in what they do. We involve them early, working alongside architects and interior designers to develop a vested interest in and commitment to the project. A construction team working in partnership with the project designers helps establish a shared goal in delivering the best possible quality of construction and interior finish.

Services

Every project is unique, so we take time to listen carefully to our clients, and we don’t set out on a project until we have a full understanding of their needs.

We prepare a detailed project brief that is shared with the development team, and we create a summary that outlines how we will deliver the project, including the services Reay Projects and supporting consultants will provide.

As property development managers, our core responsibility is to represent our client’s interests, providing project leadership and direction across the full development cycle from project start up to occupation. We are the single point of contact between client and project team, sharing regular communications that summarise key matters, report on progress and raise areas where decisions are required.

The following list outlines these stages with a summary of our typical services.

Alongside our core service as property development managers / the client’s representative - and depending on the project requirement - we can provide additional development management services including initial concept designs and construction cost estimates. We will work closely with directly appointed designers and specialist consultants or, employ these professionals directly as subcontractors to Reay Projects.
